I took no photos on my walk today. I had to wear gloves and a hat, which are not conducive to operating my cellphone, much less its camera. The chill today was deep and widespread and an unfriendly wind blew at me from the west. Usually, the cold is made more tolerable when it is brought in by the chocolate breeze. When the north wind blows, the air in the West Loop is filled with the smell of chocolate from the Blommer Chocolate Company factory, thus a chocolate breeze. On those days, my walk is pleasant – even if it is chilly. But today, the chill wasn’t blowing in from the north. Cold, but no chocolate.
However, the sun is shining. It is a Friday. And God has good plans for me. All is well. That is my chocolate breeze for today.
